EEG Technologist

Full-Time- Night Shift| Chicago & Oak Lawn, IL

Pay: $25.30–$37.95/hour

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly the same. Depending on your experience and department needs, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Perform routine and portable EEGs for inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain clinical histories, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
  • Apply electrodes, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize recording quality.
  • Recognize and document artifacts while ensuring high-quality diagnostic studies.
  • Participate in advanced neurodiagnostic testing, including:
    • Long-Term EEG Monitoring
    • Ambulatory EEG
    • Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
    • WADA Testing
    • Evoked Potentials
  • Assist with scheduling, study archiving, and other departmental workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in EEG, neurodiagnostics, or a related direct patient care role.
  • Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Day/Evening shifts
  • Rotating weekends
